Free Lance Recording Artist—

I have been involved in recording since 1967, when I did a session on trombone with an R&B band in St. Louis. Other groups/projects have included pop singer Michael McDonald, blues guitarist Bill Scholer, NPR Radio (an all original soundtrack for a one-hour documentary, writing and performing on piano, trombone and percussion.)

Other sessions include a double CD of poet Gary Snyder’s epic, “Mountains and Rivers without End,” and live concert performances with saxophonist Randy McKean of the Nevada County Composers Cooperative.

SAVING THE SIERRA • A one-hour radio Documentary

"Producers Catherine Stifter and jesikah maria ross traveled California's Sierra Nevada Mountain range to explore communities in the midst of a struggle against the development pressures closing in on them. In each place, they met unlikely allies who came together to find grassroots solutions for sustaining both the environment and their ways of life. These stories of collaboration may be models for threatened rural places across the country."
